Yes it is, WE went on a cruise for our honeymoon and it was great. Once you get on ship and get unpacked, all the action comes to you.

First you need to pick a good cruise itinerary so you get to see and do things that the two of you like. If you want sun and the beach, do a caribbean cruise. If you are into historical stuff, do a Mediterranian cruise.

Almost all cruie lines have the same setup, but Carnival is for the younger crowds (i.e., 20's to 30's). I would stay away from Disney, too many kids. Try Royal Caribbean or Princess. Norwegian is good, but they don't have the personal service that others do with their "freestyle" cruising.

When you book, ask for a table for two so you and the bride can have some privacy at dinner. You will meet plenty of people other times. Cruises have entertainment on ship and great tours to keep you busy all day. Also, book a balcony cabin, its worth the extra money to have a place where the two of you can be outside in privacy. Make sure that you let them know when you book that its a honeymoon, They will do special things. On Princess they decorated our cabin door with baloons. They will have a get together for all the honeymooners and aniversary people.

It depends on which cruise you're planning to take. Because if you're talking about something similar to Alaska cruise, then good luck to your honeymoon. Yes, you'll be spending more time together because you're inside a ship for a week or two. You'll be meeting new people in there plus you'll have unlimited supply of food (24/7), you'll have lots of fun (from sports, recreation, entertainment, etc.). BUT you're stuck in the ship for a week or so.

For honeymoon to be more romantic, I suggest going to one of the world's most famous beaches or cities. There, you can spend the whole day talking, or watch the sun rise and set. For cities, you could take long walks and go from some place to another. You can also dine in a restaurant that overlooks the entire city which will be romantic.

But whatever advice you receive, it all falls down with you and your spouse. Whatever suits your interests, whether it be a honeymoon in a third world country stuck in a war between US and Iraq, as long as the two of you have fun, then your honeymoon's definitely worth it. Good luck! =)

Yes, it is a very good idea.. with a variety of things to do. You won't have to get in a fuss over getting lost,, you can have romantic dinners everynight,, and one night on the ship there is a show called "Not so newly wed Game" and you might want to be the "newly wed" couple on the game show..it is soooo fun!

Plus, cruises believe it or not,, are cheaper than most vacation,, if you have a port close to home so you won't have to pay airline fees.

You can also have a bottle of wine, flowers , gifts.. or whatever already in your room on arrival for a small price... they even will add balloons,, ask your travel agent..that is such a neat surprise.

I went on a cruise with my family last year, and it was great. I am getting married on April 28, 2007 and we are planning to cruise. It is a great idea. Enjoy!

Yes, quite romantic. But make sure of not getting drunk heavily because I have heard horrible stories that result from heavy drinking. Enjoy your honeymoon and congratulations :)

It is the company that is important, not the location. If you find a good deal, and it is in a nice location, and is with a good cruise ship, than go for it.

Yes! almost all inclusive vacation. a No worry trip just sign for everything if you want to you can keep track of spending on your tv in your cabin other than that worry about it when the trip is done, billed to the card of your choosing. Excusions are as upbeat or relaxed as you want them to be. Dancing, dining, tanning on the deck, the spa.
