I can speak to the Cozumel and Costa Maya portion of your trip. Rather than re-writing everything I wrote in answer to another question, please take the time to visit the link below (addressed to another couple visiting this same area).

I would not suggest going into town in Cozumel unless you want to be hassled by a lot of rough looking locals. Better off sticking to the shore excursions here instead of trying to do your own thing.

Definitely go snorkeling in Key West! It's beautiful underwater there. And In Cozumel do the Jeep Trail ride with Ernesto...if he's still the guide...that guy is hilarious and you get to ride jeeps through sandy trails and stop for authentic mexican food on the beach.

Grand Bahamas, sucks swamp water. Over priced, rude and just not that nice. I would suggest just walking around grab a coke and take a few snap shots. Better yet enjoy the ship.

Key West, nice port of call. Don't shop here either! However you food and sight seeing is great! They have a little bus tour (hop on/off) well worth the money.

Cozumel, They took a hard hit from the hurricane since I've been there (18 months ago). However if they did what they did the last time, they should be up and running. This is where you shop! Many people don't know that you can buy Black Coral there and for a fraction of other locations. If you don't want to spend a lot of time shopping or want to grab a good (safe meal) Los Cino Soles is by far the best place. BTW many of the places do use bottled water, I've been to Cozumel 7 times over the years and never got sick.

As for the "1 yard margarita" stop at one if you must do it! I've helped more shipmate than I care to remember.

Local handcrafts are also cheap.

Don't forget that loose stones don't count on your duty! Buy the stones loose and have them mounted when you get home. Most ships have a special sale $10 a carrot.

when in cozumel...if you have the time take the jeep safaries tour!!!

you get to drive your own jeep out into the dunes.

they tell you point blank..."remember these are not your jeeps..HAVE FUN!!" AND THEY ARE SERIOUS!!!

its a great time and lunch is included its well worth the price which is not bad.

In Key West take the Ernest Hemingway House tour. Lot's of fun. Descendants of his original pet cats still have the run of the place. Many of them have 6 toes on each paw. JUST DON'T TRY TO PICK ONE UP. THE TOUR GUIDES ARE NAZIS ABOUT THIS.

Get a cocktail at Capt. Tony's while avoiding Sloppy Joe's'. Joe's is supposedly where Ernest himself drank but it's a shadow of its former self. Capt. Tony's is still the real thing.

The sundown show on the pier is an oddball odyssey. Take it in if you're still there at sundown.

If you can manage the time and transportation, Dolphin Encounter in the middle Keys is unforgetable. Go for the high-priced ticket, it is worth it.

Tour Atlantis. Go snorkelling. Gamble. Eat like a pig.

Grand Bahamas (Freeport) - Here, I've visited the Dolphin Encounters trip. They take you on a Air Conditioned Bus to the site, then you sign in and get on a boat for a nice boat ride to the dolphis, and you get in the water.. the dophins swim around you.. get you wet.. and you get in the platform and they swim up and you can touch them and rub their fins.. It was a fun trip.

Key West - not much really there to do, I've vacationed there and there really isn't much you can't do in any other US city.. so I would get off the ship, go see the standard Tourist attractions and bars..

Cozumel - if you are certified diver, Dive! Dive! Dive! One of the best diving spots in the Caribbean if not the world... If you are not certified, then get certified before going on the cruise. It's not hard.. really!

Costa Maya - It's not the best place see the Mayan Ruins. Take a trip to see the ruins... They are fantabulous!

Make sure you book ahead. And while booking an excursion trip through the cruise line is more expensive than doing your own booking, you are better off going off in a group from the ship so that you have at least others to lean on in a foreign country. Be careful and don't give a single dollar to any of the pan handlers.. once you give one.. they will mark you and everyone else will come begging.

Enjoy your cruise.. Cruising is fun!
