I went on a cruise to the Bahamas on the 14th. My only regret is that it was too short ;-)

No, I absolutely love cruising, it is the best way to travel. It's fun, relaxing, exciting, just wonderful. It's not for everyone, for instance, someone really wanting to tour the Bahamas probably wouldn't enjoy a cruise since you will likely only get a day there.

I love cruises and think it is the best way to travel, it is a true vacation, your not always on the run.

Cruising can really be as expensive or as inexpensive as you like. You can take Carnival and go on a lower category, this is about as inexensive at it gets, you can get a suite on a higher end cruise, or you can take a small cruise like Windjammer where it starts to get a little more costly. You can really fit a cruise into just about any budget.

As for my cruise, my agent was able to get me a really good deal on a last minute idea. Two state-rooms, with verandahs, great price.

Hope this helps!

Just got back from a 14 day cruise to the Baltic and Russia. It was on a Celebrity cruise line ship and it was great. It was tweice the normal price of a crusie because it was 14 days, but it was worth the money. Yes I recommend a Baltic or Mediterranian cruise. Baltic takes you to Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Norway, Finland and Russia. Mediterranian takes you to Italy (several cities), France, Greece, Turkey, and Spain. There are many many historical sites to see there.

I went on my first cruise 4 years ago and now go every year. I personally like the really big ships because there's sooooo much to do. (My favorite 2 were on the Royal Caribbean Voyager class) I love meeting people in the clubs on board, there's every kind of activity you can want, and it's all included. I also like that you get to see many different places without having to pack, check-out of the hotel, and check-in to a new one. It's actually cheaper than a hotel, meals, and entertainment would be. Next year, Freedom of the Seas - the world's largest ship!!!!
