Hi, everyone.
I can leave from Spain, Italy or France and I'd like to know what are the best sites to visit with a cruise. I'm looking for a classic mediterranean culture.
The problem is that I'll have only 7 days for this tour.... So let me know any good resource to dscover the best!

Thank you!

Europe and Mediterranean

A wide variety of itineraries and ports of the Mediterranean's most beautiful. Coasts kissed by the sun, villages where life runs quiet and unchanged for centuries: that is the Mediterranean that many dream of ... the classic Venice, Barcelona, Florence, Rome and Athens, but also the surprising Jerusalem, Egypt, coast of Turkey, Greece and the coasts of the Crimea to meet a most unusual Mediterranean.

The magic from Scandinavia and Russia's imperial treasures city rich in architectural styles and cultures, sandy beaches and cliffs, which are retreating tide to discover the coast a little taste to describe the magic of Northern Europe, Baltic and Norwegian fjords: Princess Cruises from 7 to 10 days in Scandinavia and Russia will show you the best of a region rich in history but also of legends. The British Isles and Northern Europe, timeless places One of the peculiarities of this region is the diversity of experience that offers: in one trip, you can find in France for a wine tasting or to go shopping in the streets of Glasgow, or even you may navigate within the Arctic Circle, where few travelers have set foot.

Itineraries to discover what we do not know and again with different eyes what you have already seen.

The Classic Mediterranean, you discover the splendor of Venice, the fortifications of Dubrovnik, the extraordinary museums of Florence and then to Spain and France to live worldly and avant-garde city.

The journey in Greece and Turkey: the splendor of ancient Greece who live along the streets of Olympia and the Acropolis, to the sumptuous palaces of Constantinople, the historical crossroads between East and West.

Sailing along the Norwegian coast

Why choose a navigation along the Norwegian coast instead of a traditional Mediterranean Cruise offers the opportunity to touch many places of the Norway, into close contact with the land and the reality of his people.

Many ships embarking and disembarking passengers and goods in the Norwegian ports of tourism, more and more passengers are coming from all over the world who choose this route to live and learn through a Norway itinerary universally acknowledged to be one of the most beautiful journeys in the world.

The organization and its customers are international on board, the official language is English.

Eastern Mediterranean Cruises

--------------------------------------------------

Greece, the Greek Isles and Turkey are the highlights of most eastern Mediterranean cruises. Venice, Italy and Croatia (especially Dubrovnik) are also very popular ports of call on eastern Mediterranean itineraries, and a few cruises include stopovers in Cyprus, Lebanon, Israel, or Egypt. The ancient archaeological sites of this area, combined with the natural sun-kissed beauty of the islands of Greece make the eastern Mediterranean a wonderful cruise experience.

Western Mediterranean Cruises

-------------------------------------------------

The area of the Mediterranean from the southern tip of Italy to the straits of Gibraltar are included in these itineraries. Sicily and towering Mount Etna are fascinating, as are the remains of Pompeii near Naples and the Amalfi Coast. Capri, an island near Naples, is a picture-perfect place to spend the day. Architecture buffs and art lovers will especially enjoy Rome, Florence, and Barcelona. The French and Italian Rivieras, Mallorca, and Monte Carlo feature beautiful beaches and lots of sun. You can also rub elbows with some of Europe's rich and famous along the Rivieras and shop in some of the world's best boutiques.

Hope this helps :)

For a cruise, having a 7 day Mediterranean cruise is almost impossible.

The shortest is probably 12 days.

My cruise with Carnival started in Rome, Italy and traveled to the following places:

-Naples, Italy

-Venice, Italy

-Dubrovnik, Croatia

-Messina, Sicily, Italy

-Barcelona, Spain

-Cannes, France (for Monte Carlo, Monaco)

-Liviorno, Italy (for Pisa/Florence)

It was the time of my life and I learned so much. Seriously, one of my most treasured experiences.

Also, I suggest looking into Baltic Cruises. That was spectacular when I went! They are shorter too (10 days). You might not think places like Sweden, Denmark and Russia have as much to offer as the Mediterranean, but take it from someone who's been on both--it's incredible!

I have cruised the eastern and western Mediterranean and in my opinion the very best port stops are in Italy (Florence/Pisa; Rome; and Naples), in the Greek Isles Santorini and Mykonos, Gibralter and the Canary Islands; pretty much in that order.

Any Med cruise you do MUST have a stop in Rome. Then Florence/Pisa and Naples offer great opportunities for visiting historical sites. The Greek Isles are just beautiful.

The problem is you have only 7 days and you cannot necessarily get to all of the best places in that time frame. So my advice is make sure that you get to Rome and then also Florence and Naples.

Royal Caribbean cruise line has several cruises that will get you to these prime sites. Here's one: http://www.royalcaribbean.com/findacruise/cruiseDetails/itineraryAndPricing.do;jsessionid=0000QIwXu4xbZika_IzPdP9cMpw:12hdhubrs?packageCode=VY07M064&date=ANY&selectedCurrencyCode=USD&promoType=&hasSenior=&hasMilitary=&hasFireandPolice=&state=

In addition, the Voyager of the Seas is a great ship to do that cruise on. I have cruised on two of its sister ships which are identical.

Celebrity Cruise line also has a 7-day Med cruise which will get you to these prime ports. Here's a link to it: http://www.celebritycruises.com/search/vacationItinerary.do;jsessionid=0000phCL11YdvpL47GRJu1OVOXH:12hdbcuh7?packageCode=CS07M055&backPageName=Itinerary+Search+Results

This cruise is on the Constellation and that's also a great ship to cruise on; we cruised on it a few years ago.

Princess cruise line has a good itinerary that will get you to the Greek Isles: http://www.princess.com/pb/itineraryDetails.do?voyageCode=7017&tourCode=&date=&noOfPax=2&resType=C&definition_name=

This Princess cruise is also good: http://www.princess.com/pb/itineraryDetails.do?voyageCode=7019&tourCode=&date=&noOfPax=2&resType=C&definition_name=

My advice is to go to the cruise line web sites to search for your cruise; the sites give all of the information that you need and you can reserve right on line. If you have a problem or question you can call or email the cruise line and they will respond promptly. Or just call the cruie line and they will help you.
